Lake Burton Access Home with Sweeping Views!

Sweeping views of Lake Burton and Charlie Mountain introduce this 2 bedroom, 3 full bath lake access home with sleeping loft and full unfinished basement. Enjoy views of Charlie Mountain from the modern kitchen with granite countertops, tile backsplash, oak cabinetry, and desk with shelving.  A separate dining area enjoys the mature backyard landscape of hydrangeas, rose bushes, and azaleas. The clean lined living room and library/study have vaulted ceilings and sliding doors that open to the full length decking overlooking the sunsets behind Charlie Mountain and the lake beyond. Awaken in the large, bright and airy master bedroom with windows framing the stunning views.  The master bath has tiles floors, tub and separate shower.  A full guest bath and storage closets finish the main floor with its oak flooring throughout.

Stairs lead up to a large sleeping loft and bedroom with shared full bath.  A full length unfinished basement offers possibilities for an extra rec room or additional bedroom. The one car garage door makes easy access to the area. A divider wall sections off the studio with sink and outside entrance.

Just 1/3 of a mile to the lake access swim dock.  You can keep your boat at the dock for the day but must return it to the marina at night.

From the owner:

We have owned our home for 20 years – the first 10 years as a weekend escape from Atlanta and then fulltime in retirement.  Originally from New York, we had spent vacations on a lake in New Hampshire.  We looked for a similar setting and we found it here - where the mountains come down to meet the lake.  We are 200’ above the lake and it is less than 1/3rd of a mile walk to the TCRB Association dock via road and trail.   We keep our boat at Anchorage Marina less than a mile away.  The drive into Clayton is less than 20 minutes.  It is difficult for us to leave, but it is time for us to move on.
